Local fireplace specialists Bernard and Linda Renaud, of Stone Creations, combine strong listening and design skills with the craftsmanship to custom fabricate fabulous limestone fireplaces, and much more.

“We refer to our products as “Architectural Elements” explains Linda. “Our goal is to interpret our clients' dreams in a way that will feel agelessly appropriate to the living space around a mantel, a kitchen hood, an entry door, a fountain or a pedestal base.”

Scale and proportion are important, as is function. With well over 20 years of experience in the custom stone industry, the Renauds have knowledge to share when helping a client to design around a challenge or just to select the best material for the job.

Limestone is a natural product which included striations, fossil-inclusions and subtle variations of color and texture. Limestone brings an authentic, gentle beauty to a project.

Stone Creations also imports antique terra-cotta roofing and flooring tiles, as well as hand-made old-style products. The inventory of thick limestone slabs, up to 12" thick, is impressive and gives the workshop the look of a quarry.

Many years of collaboration with European suppliers permit Stone Creations to bid competitively on large shipments of slab flooring, etc. Additional matching material is kept in inventory, as a courtesy to those clients who make changes during construction and who need additional stone, floor tiles or roof tiles.
